Hello and welcome to Outdoor Enthusiasts, an organization dedicated to supporting our 4wheeling trails. For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Michael Czajkowski, Marlin Czajkowski’s son. Many of you know me as “Big Mike” from Marlin Crawler. For more than a decade now, I have worked with Marlin Crawler. Marlin Crawler has been serving the off-road community with great 4wheel parts as well as working with non-profit organizations that support our trails. As many of you know, our trails require constant maintenance and upkeep. This maintenance and upkeep can be quite costly.
For example, opening trails every year requires purchasing supplies like chainsaws, winches, and other tools to clear the trails of fallen trees or impassable debris. In addition, material is purchased for projects like constructing restrooms, repairing and restoring camp ground facilities, installing fencing to insure proper trail usage, placing appropriate trail markers, building bridges, and such. And lastly, there are many costs associated with the efforts to keep trails open such as legal fees, publications, education, and rounding up public awareness. Most of the non-profit organizations that handle these things depend on donations from people like you and me who value our trails. Without our financial support, our trails cannot exist as they do now.
But let’s face it, how many of us can afford to donate a significant amount of money to these organizations? We all want to support these trails that we love so much. But it is not easy for everyone to donate money. Wouldn’t it be nice if there was a unique system that doesn’t add a new bill to your budget but still makes it possible to contribute?
For example, what if every time you shop for groceries, the store you shop at donates money to organizations that help preserve our trails like Rubicon, Johnson Valley, and other trails across the country. And what if this new store sells great products that are reasonably priced? Wouldn’t it be great to shop at a store that donates some of their profit to supporting trails, rather than a store that simply puts all your money into their pockets?
Have you ever come across a store like that? . . . Well, here’s the exciting news! . . . We have found a store like this – a company that will support our trails every time we shop with them! The name of this company is Melaleuca. Melaleuca manufactures high-quality household products at very reasonable prices, in many cases prices lower than what you’ll find in the supermarkets. And if you’re not 100% satisfied with any product you buy, you can return it for a full refund – so it’s a store without risk! That’s why we’re so excited to share this store with you, because there is no way anyone can get hurt.
But the best part is that Melaleuca donates up to 25% of what we spend on products every month to our trail-supporting organizations. And remember, we wouldn’t have to spend any new money because we already buy products for our homes. The only difference is that we would choose to buy products from a different store. So imagine, each of us just buys the products we need for our home and a portion of that money goes directly to supporting the trails. We think that’s an awesome setup!
So why would Melaleuca be willing to do this? It’s because they know that by supporting our non-profit organizations, we would be their loyal customers. To help you learn more about this exciting idea, we formed an organization named Outdoor Enthusiasts. Outdoor Enthusiasts understands that not everyone can afford to donate to support our trails. Therefore, our mission is to introduce Melaleuca to everyone who values our trails so the monthly shopping we do anyway is used to support non-profit trail organizations.
In addition, we plan to take a very active role in monitoring how these funds are used and reporting to you all the benefits and improvements these funds have provided. Please check our website regularly to view our growing list of trail-supporting organizations that Outdoor Enthusiasts is benefiting and to see how these funds are being used for the trails.
We’re also excited to announce that Marlin Crawler has partnered with Outdoor Enthusiasts. Because Marlin Crawler is helping to promote Outdoor Enthusiasts, Marlin Crawler will also receive a percentage of the purchases being made. These funds will go toward research and development to produce the highest quality and most innovative parts for your truck.
Ultimately, we know that as we grow and add more and more trail supporting organizations to our partnership and more customers supporting these organizations, we’ll be able to generate support for many trails all over the country. If you would like to know the details of how you can become involved, please leave your e-mail address in the box below. You will promptly receive an e-mail with further instructions. We truly appreciate that you took the time to learn about this new and exciting way of supporting our trails. Thank you.
